These are the benefits of joining the Blackdown Hills Rough Grazing Association:
- Access to valuable, good-quality information about grazing, mechanical management, veterinary issues, wildlife, grant support and other matters.
- Access into a community of shared interests, containing a wide range of experience of looking after rough, wildlife-rich grazing land.
- Free or subsidised entry to events and open days in the area.
- The ability to advertise for help wanted, or services offered, relating to grazing, wildlife management and other subjects.
From 2018 to early 2021, while the Blackdown Hills Facilitation Fund is operating, members of the Facilitation Fund will be entitled to FREE membership of the BHRGA. This is thanks to the Facilitation Fund providing financial support to cover the Association's running costs during this period. For more information see the Facilitation Fund page on this website.
For non-members of the Facilitation Fund, membership of the BHRGA costs £15 per year, or £25 a year to advertise on the Directory. To join, complete this form and return it to us. We will then contact you to request your subscription and provide more information.
The membership year runs from 1st June to 31st May. Members joining within 3 months of the year end (ie from 1st March to 31st May) will get the whole of the following year (ie up to 31st May the following year) within their first subscription. Members joining between 1st June and 28th Feb will get the period from their joining date to 31st May within their first subscription. Renewal reminders will be sent out in May, for renewal by 1st June. Direct debits are welcome - please let us know if you would like to set up a DD.
