We will be visiting Ruttersleigh Common, in the Neroche Forest, hosted by the Blackdown Hills Trust and Forestry England, to see the product of 15 years' work converting former conifer plantations into wildlife-rich habitats of heath, species-rich grassland, scrub and woodland. This provides a real-world example of the challenges and outcomes of working for nature on a landscape-scale.
Timing 11am to 2.30pm. Lunch provided. To book a place follow this link.
