Hedge management - good practice
18th October 2018

An opportunity to discuss good practice in hedge management, with two local experts.

When should hedges be trimmed, and what makes a good job?  How do you manage hedges tidily and also cater for wildlife?  What's the benefit of hedge laying and what are the options for getting a hedge layed?

Courtesy of Tom Eames we will be looking at hedges on the Cotley Estate at Wambrook.  We will be joined by George Pidgeon of the Blackdown Hills Hedge Association, and Graham Farmer of GH Farmer & Son, Buckland St Mary.

12 noon to 2pm, Cotley Farm.  Lunch provided.
